Key Responsibilities
As a trainee, your duties will include:
- Checking and ensuring all machine components and supporting equipment are functioning properly
- Assisting in operating machines according to standard procedures and speed targets
- Minimizing material wastage during machine operations
- Reporting faults or operational issues to the line supervisor
- Using all provided protective equipment and following health and safety guidelines
- Performing routine maintenance tasks based on provided checklists
- Keeping your work area clean and maintaining proper dressing standards in line with housekeeping practices
- Preventing product contamination by ensuring production equipment is hygienic
- Cleaning auxiliary machines such as mixers and UV equipment before and after use
- Carrying out machine change-over activities according to the production schedule
- Following good manufacturing practices, food safety standards, and environmental and occupational health and safety rules
- Maintaining zero work-related injuries and ensuring safe operations at all times
